Pia Cuneo
Ph.D., Professor, School of Art

Pia Cuneo teaches Italian and Northern Renaissance Art. She is the author of, among other writings, Art and Politics in Early Modern German: Jorg Breu the Elder and the Fashioning of Political Identity, 1998. She has also editied Artful Armies, Beautiful Battles: Art and Warfare in Early Modern Europe, 2002. Her research interests include social and political functions of 15th and 16th century art, and early hippology.
