John Paul Jones III is a human geographer specializing in social and cultural theory and geographic methodology. He has written numerous papers on the spatial aspects of women’s poverty and on space and identity, the latter having been influenced by feminist poststructuralist theory. He has also written on intellectual trends in feminist geography. He was co-editor of the collection, Thresholds in Feminist Geography: Difference, Methodology, Representation.
