Barbara Kosta
Ph.D., Professor, Department of German Studies

Dr. Kosta received her Ph.D from the University of California, Berkeley. Her research interests include feminist filmmaking, autobiography, and contemporary literature by women. She is the author of Recasting Autobiography: Women's Counterfictions in Contemporary German Literature and Film (Cornell University Press, 1994). Her forthcoming book is Willing Seduction: The Blue Angel, Marlene Dietrich and Mass Culture (Berghahn). This project was supported by the Fulbright Foundation.
