Valerie F. Reyna
Ph.D., Associate Professor, Department of Surgery

Dr. Reyna is Director of the Informatics and Decision-Making Laboratory in the College of Medicine. She conducts research on memory, reasoning, and their relationship. She has published more than 80 articles, chapters, and books in such outlets as Psychological Science and Psychological Review. She is currently focusing on issues in judgment and decision-making, especially those related to risk and health, including gender and ethnic biases in medical decision-making.
