Stephen T. Russell is Associate Professor of Family Studies and Human Development in the John & Doris Norton School of Family and Consumer Sciences. He received a Wayne F. Placek Award from the American Psychological Foundation (2000), was a William T. Grant Foundation Scholar (2001-2006), and is a Visiting Distinguished Professor of Human Sexuality Studies at San Francisco State University. Stephen’s research focuses on adolescent ethnic and sexual identities, sexuality development, and sexual health. He conducts research on adolescent pregnancy and parenting, and on the health and development of sexual minority youth.
