Wendy Sampson
Originally from Nebraska, I came to Tucson in 1999. I obtained a BA in women's
studies and political science from the University of Arizona. I spent the last
few years doing crisis counseling and case management at Tucson Centers for
Women and Children, a shelter for women and children survivors of domestic
violence. A few of my interests include the roles of gender and race in
"non-hierarchical", consensus-based communities and expressions of genders and
sexualities in resistance cultures.
