Students
Alexandra V. Tracy-Ramirez
I'm a blend of Northeast, Southwest, Cubana, American, Women's Studies and Law.
I received my B.A. in Spanish from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst where
I also majored in Women's Studies and minored in Latin American Studies. I'm
currently a student in the dual degree J.D./M.A. program, a program that has given
me the tools, space and perspectives to research the politics of representation
and blame in the legal and popular discourses of workplace violence. I also work
at the Honors College coordinating the Paladins program, a one-credit transition
course for incoming first-year and transfer students. When not there or in the TA
office, I'm often hanging out at Wingspan, Tucson's LGBTQ community center or
volunteering at the PrideLaw student-run legal clinic there. In my other lives
I enjoy black cats, hair dye, running, biking and swimming.
