Women in Science and Engineering

The Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) program was established at the University of Arizona in 1976 as part of the Women's Studies Department and the Southwest Institute forResearch on Women. WISE isgoverned by a Board of Directors consisting of several UA deans, faculty, and key externalbusiness people who are involved with the science and technology industries.
