Who We AreWomen's Studies Advisory Council is a community-wide organization which promotes and supports the students, faculty and activities of the University of Arizona Women's Studies Department.
What We Do
- Serve as an advocate for Women's Studies in the community.
- Provide support for teaching, research, outreach and professional growth for the students and faculty of the Women's Studies Department.
- Bring stimulating visiting guest lecturers and scholars to the University of Arizona campus.
- Honor women business/community leaders at our annual Women Who Lead reception.
- Spearhead the creation of the Women's Plaza of Honor on the University of Arizona campus, with
a $3 million campaign.
